Maintaining A Family Tradition
Located on the “quiet side” of the island, our Mount Desert Island campground was established in 1969 in the woods off Route 102 North of Southwest Harbor. Surrounded by natural beauty, visitors can access over 25 miles of Acadia National Park hiking trails right from our family owned and operated campground as well as nearby fire roads including Lurvey Springs Road.
As has been the goal of previous generations, the fourth generation of Worcesters are committed to providing the same quality service and unforgettable camping experience that we are known for! We invite you and your family (including your pets) to join us this camping season!
Enjoy Camping With All The Amenities On The Quiet Side Of MDI
When not exploring the park, visiting nearby Bar Harbor for shopping, or visiting other island attractions, we encourage our guests to enjoy our hospitality, which includes clean bath houses with free hot showers, a heated pool, WiFi access, a fully stocked camp store (yes, we have lobsters!), four acres of recreation field, and more!
